Why I Love Movies

First thing that comes to mind, here we go:

-I love escaping from the sometimes mundane events from everyday life and exploring magical new worlds and things that are not possible.

-I love to see myself in the main character who is a hopeless romantic and on a search for his soul-mate.

-I love how Joaquin Phoenix became Johnny Cash.

-I love how in The Master the greatest visual effects are Joaquin Phoenix’s facial expressions.

-I love Heath Ledger’s smile and charisma in 10 Things I Hate About You.

-I love how Heath Ledger disappeared into the Joker role in The Dark Knight.

-I love the misdirection in (500) Days of Summer as you start to believe that Tom and Summer will end up together.

-I love Summer crying during The Graduate.

-I love Joseph-Gordon Levitt looking at his reflection in a car’s window and seeing Han Solo.

-I loved how happy Bruce Wayne looked at the end of The Dark Knight Rises.

-I loved how Jim Carrey asked Kate Winslett not to go in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

-I love how young Leonardo Dicaprio and Kate Winslett look in Titanic.

-I love how James Cameron created a planet in Avatar.

-I love how John Connor is the most important man in the history of the world.

-I love how Elizabeth Shaw kept her faith in Prometheus.

-I love how full of shit Lancaster Dodd is in The Master.

-I love that Jason Segal wrote Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

-I love when a person writes, directs and stars in a movie.

-I love it when Josh Radnor writes and reads his letters in Liberal Arts.

-I love how Amy Adams can star in both The Muppets and The Master.

-I love how much I love those two movies in completely different ways.

-I love how much shit Bane talks during his fight with Batman in The Dark Knight Rises.

-I love the way both Bane and the Joker are introduced in Christopher Nolan’s Batman films.

-I love it when Ellen Page and Michael Cera sing at the end of Juno.

-I love how happy Michael Corleone looks at the beginning of The Godfather.

-I love any interaction between Al Pacino and Marlon Brando in The Godfather.

-I love the opening of Apocalypse Now with Martin Sheen’s narration.

-I love it when Vesper is introduced in Casino Royale.

-I love Ramona Flowers’ different hair colors in Scott Pilgrim.

-I love how after everything and after all the billions of dollars, Mark Zuckerberg is stuck hitting refresh in the Social Network.

-I love the flashback scenes in Blue Valentine.

-I love Greg Mottola’s films, Adventureland and Superbad, and how different they are from each other.

-I love it when Adam Sandler challenges himself in films such as Punch-Drunk Love, Funny People and Spanglish.

-I love Jennifer Aniston in Office Space.

-I love it when Caesar spoke in Rise of the Planet of the Apes.

-I loved Super 8 because of the kids and not the alien/monster.

-I love the opening shot of Lost in Translation.

-I love how authentic AND funny Major League is.

-I love that Joseph-Gordon Levitt was in Angels in the Outfield.

-I loved it when Ben Affleck knocked on Matt Damon’s door in Good Will Hunting and he wasn’t there.

-I loved Aldous Snow’s performance of Inside You in Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

– I loved Jason Segal’s performance of the Dracula’s Lament in Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

-I love how much Jason Segal loves puppets.

-I love how beautiful Kermit the Frog’s performance of Pictures in my Head was in The Muppets.

-I love how Channing Tatum surprised us all in 21 Jump Street.

-I love when John Carter first learns to walk on Mars.

-I love Lynn Collins as the princess of Mars in John Carter.

-I love Adam Sandler’s musical performance as George Simmons in Funny People.

-I loved The Grey ending just as Liam Neeson prepared to go one-on-one with the wolf.

-I love Liam Neeson’s voice.

-I love everything about Michael Fassbender’s performance in X-Men: First Class.

-I loved Hugh Jackman’s cameo in X-Men: First Class.

-I loved seeing the Hulk vs. Thor in a live-action movie.

– I loved watching Bruce Wayne get his training in Batman Begins.

-I loved how much Forrest Gump wanted to save Jenny.

-I loved when Forrest Gump ran across country.

-I love Brad Pitt as Billy Beane in Moneyball.

-I love that Joseph-Gordon Levitt didn’t die at the end of 50/50.

-I love that Joseph-Gordon Levitt was positioned as the new Batman in Christopher’s Nolan Batman continuity.

-I love how ridiculous Dogma is.

-I love how Carey Mulligan looks like an angel in Drive.

-I love how personal the courtship in Like Crazy feels.

-I love how funny Jim Carrey is in Dumb and Dumber.

-I love how much more I love his serious films such as Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and The Truman Show.

-I love that Leonardo Dicaprio and Kate Winslett reunited in Revolutionary Road.

-I love the duo of Chloe Grace Moretz and Nicolas Cage in Kick-Ass.

-I love the fake trailers at the beginning of Tropic Thunder.

-I love how huge Tom Hardy is in Warrior.

-I love how Hardy loses to his older, smaller brother in the finals in Warrior.

-I love how Rocky and Adrian help fill each other’s gaps.

-I love Rocky sprinting during his training sequence in the original Rocky movie.

-I loved the dark ending of Terminator 3.

-I love when Jake Sully first uses his legs in his avatar body.

-I love when Andy gave away his toys at the end of Toy Story 3.

-I loved how funny and smart Annie Hall was.

-I loved knowing what Woody Allen and Diane Keaton’s characters were really thinking during their conversation in Annie Hall.

-I loved how Summer led to Autumn in (500) Days of Summer.

-I love seeing Liam Neeson scream up at an empty sky in The Grey.
